Complete Waterproofing

Completely waterproofed drones can be  submerged entirely in water and will usually survive in fresh and seawater for extended periods of time. For example, if you fly on the beach and crash into the sea. This is achieved using epoxy. As a side effect is you will usually be unable to re-solder any of these electronics, as epoxy creates a thick protective layer. 

Partial Waterproofing

Partially waterproofed drones are water-resistant and use less permanent solutions to repel water. The electronics can be re-soldered. These drones can be used while it rains lightly or in misty/cloudy conditions, but they should not be left underwater for very long, as this type of protection is not as thorough as epoxy.

Waterproofing digital system is more complicated, therefore it is also more expensive.

How it works:

1. You select services you would like to do. Let's say you have a new quad copter or plane you would like us to waterproof and set up for you. That would be a waterproofing service, select based on the size of your quad copter or select fixed wing if you have a plane.
2. You put these services into a basket and purchase them.
3. If you live in Copenhagen or nearby, it is possible to drop off the item, and we do not need to have the items shipped to us, just select a pickup/drop off option at checkout.  If you do not live near or in Copenhagen or for other reasons, you would like to use shipping, selecting shipping at checkout. Right now, we offer only return shipping included in the price if you select it at checkout.  You will still have to purchase a shipping label to deliver your items to us, so we can work on them.
4. Once you make purchase of the service/services, you will get an order confirmation email with instructions and address where to send your items that you would like us to fix.
5. Right now we have two locations, one is our HQ - main address and the other is our service center where we do most of these services. You will find that address in the order confirmation email.
6. Once we have done our work, we always test everything and then ship it back to you, to the address you entered in checkout.
7. Please insert real email at the checkout as we need it to to get in touch with you and send you all the necessary information.

Disclaimer

Beware that motors and especially motor bearings will rust from salt water and need to be cleaned if you end up crashing in to the sea (use fresh or preferably distilled water to clean motors). Drone battery packs will also die if your drone stays submerged and especially in salt water and battery connectors will rust from salt.
